A little over two years ago, I was sitting in my home office in Brooklyn after returning from an incredible trip to Portugal and Morocco, and had an idea to start a new business.
My phone had been constantly ringing off the hook with friends asking me questions about travel and points. I had started a Facebook community around travel and it had taken off in a short time. My instagram was growing like crazy and I had incredible conversations with founders, entrepreneurs, friends and family members who inspired and motivated me to continue to put my ideas out into the world.
In January of 2024, I decided to officially make it all into a small business that would marry a few things I love so much — entrepreneurship, creativity, community and travel! It has been a wild ride to grow a business from scratch again.
From being a single girl in her 20’s and preschool teacher launching a music school 15+ years ago, to traveling the world and starting Brooklyn Family Travelers with my husband and two boys by my side, it’s been a WILD RIDE.
Entrepreneurship can feel dry when it’s about numbers, math and analytics but it can also feel extremely creative when it’s about design, new ideas and connection.
I am so proud of this little business I’ve built that’s helping so many people find new ways to explore the world with their families.
