The #1 non-points related travel tip that's changed how we travel
One small change that will make a big difference for BFT, and the #1 travel tip that’s changed the way we travel (and it’s not points!)
I’m currently in Amsterdam with a couple fun posts scheduled to send to you this week! Today’s post is a little housekeeping, a few photos, a quick hello from one of my favorite cities for family travel and three family travel tips that have made a huge difference on this trip.
This post is important so I hope you will read! At the end you’ll find 3 tips to make a family trip way easier.
First: I’ve been talking non-stop about this 100k best ever card offer for the past week because it’s a big deal but there’s also a little change (see next paragraph)!
If you’re new here (hi!) and not sure which card I’m referring to, click this article to learn more but it’s the #1 card for points travel and has a crazy high welcome bonus right now 👇
Ok so here, is an important update!
As my small business grows, I’m now working with a new affiliate company (exciting!) and that means some of my card links have now changed. It is very possible you might have an old link for this best ever offer. If so, if you use it going forward, it won’t track back to Brooklyn Family Travelers! 😢
The CORRECT link can be found by clicking “our favorite cards” and it’s the first card on our site HERE.
Click “our favorite cards”
You’ll find a catch-all page with some recommended card offers and it’s the FIRST card there.
PLEASE be sure to use this if you haven’t yet applied (or if you’ve downgraded and are waiting to reapply).
Note: if you clicked through substack, you should have the right link!
I’ve gotten a lot of questions about an end date. I don’t know when this offer will end but I do know that it’s temporary. Sometimes I get a heads up that the offer is ending and it could also just expire so I’d suggest grabbing this card asap if you’re eligible.
100k points can do so much. The points from the welcome bonus alone could potentially get you:
5 nights at a 5 star hotel
Or round trip business class tickets to Europe
Or round trip tickets for a family of 4 to London AND 2-3 nights at a hotel
Now you know why I can’t stop talking about this!
Questions on how to downgrade if you already have the card (I will send you a how-to!)? Questions on any of this? Not sure if you have the right link?
Using my credit card affiliate links is one of the most helpful ways you can show your support for Brooklyn Family Travelers.
If you apply for any card directly on a bank website, it doesn’t help any small businesses. Clicking through my links doesn’t cost you anything and helps my business grow.
If you’re not sure if you have the right link just reply to this email or send me a message and I’ll make sure the link you have is correct!
Thank YOU for helping my small business through this exciting transition and beyond. I appreciate all of your messages, questions, link requests and everything else 🖤
I’ve been thinking about cities that are easy “gateway cities” for family travel: the places to go to when you’ve only been on a beach vacation with your kids and feel intimidated by city travel, or have never left the US with kids, or took a trip that was too hard and now feel scarred and/or worried about taking your family on the road again.
One of the top cities on this easy-ish family travel list?
Amsterdam!
Small and walkable, quaint and pretty clean, everyone speaks English, food is easy and there is so much to do!
Here are some photos I took from our first couple of days here. I’ll do a city edit when I’m back home!
After the photos you’ll find 3 things that have made this trip easier including the one that can completely change the way your family travels (and it’s not about points!).
