How to Get Points from Paying Taxes

And how one of those certainties of life doesn't have to be all bad.

When I first started my music education company back in 2010, I taught two 6 year old twins who had the lucky birthday of…April 15th. When they told me their birthday, I said, “ah, tax day!” to which they replied, “EVERYONE says that” (with an eye roll, which I understood ;)).

Few of us look forward to tax season (unless perhaps we’re getting a refund) but as a business owner it rarely works out that way. So, I for one, have always dreaded it. And while I still dread it, I dread it just a little bit less now that I’ve figured out a way to get a ton of points by paying my taxes.
